Do you accept commissions?

Here at Shannen Mythen Art we love to receive commissions. We enjoy working with the customer from creating the first concept to finishing off the final piece. The process of creating your commission will start once payment is received. From here I will work with you to determine exactly what you would like to see in your piece and create a draft/proof image for you to approve or alter. While in this draft section of the process alterations and adjustments can be made easily and are highly recommended during this stage. Once the draft has been approved and I begin working on the piece alterations will become more difficult and time consuming (and possibly material consuming). For this reason there will be 'remake' charges incurred with changes made after the draft is approved by the customer. Can I see your artwork in real life?

YES! This is one aspect of the business that we are very excited to kick off. We are currently working on getting involved in different Markets and Craft Fairs so that we can bring our product to the customers. I think it is very important for the customer to get a close up look at the artwork so that they can see how much detail and skill is put into each and every piece that we create. Unfortunate due to current circumstances it is much more difficult to participate in markets and fairs but we are optimistic that we will get up and running soon. Keep up to date with our plans by checking out our Calendar of Events HERE.

How do you determine the price of your artwork?

The price of our artwork is calculated based off of a few different aspects: Time: How many hours were put into a piece, from concept to finished framed work? Materials: What was the cost of the materials used in this piece? Postage & Packaging: What is the cost of packaging materials and the cost of postage?

How soon will my order get to me after purchase?

All orders are shipped with USPS First Class Mail, we are doing all we can to get orders out in a timely manner. 'Off The Shelf' products will be shipped within 1-3 days of purchase. 'Commissioned' artwork can vary therefore shipping times are one a per project basis.

Can you ship direct to third party?

YES of course we can. A lot of our customers purchase artwork as a gift for others. Let us know if you are sending your piece as a gift and we can include a special note for you.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do ship worldwide. Please note that shipping costs and time will vary greatly with international orders. CONTACT US for further details.

Do you accept returns?

Currently at this time we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Will my frame be featured on your site or social media?

Please note that we do use photos of past art work for marketing purposes.  If you DO NOT wish to have your piece featured on the site or any of our social media platforms please let us know.
